Having an online shop built: make it sell, not just look good

In fashion, jewellery and beauty, images, trust and a short path to checkout decide the sale. Standard templates often don't do premium products justice.

In short

A shop that sells puts product images at the centre, keeps checkout short and combines brand story and purchase on the same page. An online shop typically costs €2,000 to €6,000 incl. VAT; instalments are possible.

What makes a shop sell

  • Large, high-quality product images that carry the product instead of fading next to the layout
  • A checkout with as few steps as possible
  • Colours and variants at a glance, without customers getting lost
  • Brand story and buying on the same page, with no break in the experience
  • Fast loading, especially on mobile

Three real examples

Luisant Atelier: with premium jewellery, the imagery decides. The shop layout is deliberately minimal, puts the product photography first and keeps checkout as short as possible.

HANNE-L: a young hair care brand needed brand building and a shop at the same time. Both were built as one, with product story and checkout on the same page.

The Hair Bliss: over 30 products in many colour variants stay easy to navigate, with a clear product grid, variants at a glance and a curler quiz that leads to the right product recommendation.

Shopify or a custom shop?

Shopify is the best start for most brands: payment, shipping, taxes and order management are solved, and you can maintain products yourself. We still design it individually so the shop doesn't look like a thousand others.

A fully custom shop is worth it when you have special processes, such as configurators, subscriptions with their own logic or a tight link to inventory and production.

What people usually ask

01Can I add products myself later?

Yes. You maintain products, prices, images and stock yourself in the shop system.

02What are the running costs of a shop?

Shopify charges a monthly fee depending on the plan, plus payment fees per order. Maintenance by us is optional.

03Can I pay for the shop in instalments?

Yes. The cost can be split into instalments, agreed in the quote.

04Does the shop work well on mobile?

Yes. Much of fashion and beauty shopping happens on phones, so the shop is designed for small screens first and tested on every device.
