Web app or app from the App Store?

A web app runs in the browser on any device, with no installation and no app store review. For most business applications it's the fastest and most affordable route, and it can still be added to the home screen like an app.

A store app is worth it when you need deep access to phone features, such as push notifications at scale, Bluetooth or offline use, or when being in the store matters to your business.

Why a first version (MVP) makes sense

Instead of building everything at once, you start with the features the app can't do without. It goes live sooner, you learn from real users, and you then invest specifically in what's actually needed.

What affects the price

  • Number of features and user roles
  • Payments, subscriptions and invoices
  • Integrations with existing tools
  • Web app, iOS, Android or all of them
  • AI features such as text recognition, chatbots or analytics
